Sports betting will likely be coming to four casinos in New York after the State Gaming Commission voted on Monday to propose a set of regulations that would establish a framework to legalize the game.
Those regulations will now be subject to a two-month public comment period before they’re formally promulgated by the commission, according to remarks made during the meeting. There was no debate on the regulations during the meeting.
