Whittier Law School in Costa Mesa, California, announced Wednesday its plan to shut down. "We believe we have looked at every realistic option to continue a successful law program. Unfortunately, these efforts did not lead to a desired outcome," Alan Lund, Whittier College chairman of the board of trustees, said in a statement. The ABA-accredited Whittier was established in 1966.

The Board of Trustees of Whitter College announced on Wednesday that Whittier Law School in Costa Mesa, California, will close.
In an announcement posted on the school’s website, Chairman of the Board of Trustees Alan Lund said Whittier Law, which is accredited by the American Bar Association, will not enroll new students in the fall.
